I love those vanity fair spreads that are done by annie leibowitz. So I wanted to do something inspired by her. Scenario: Old Battle Robot recieves a gift for the holiday. For a while, I had Robots on the brain and couldnt think of anything else to draw. I've always liked older looking robots, granted the new mechas look cool but old robots carry a certain charm that the new generation lacks. Anyhow, I started off with a rough pencil sketch and inked and colored the rest in photoshop. Any critiques are welcome.
